National Association of Teachers of Singing
19 students from Central High School participated in the National Association of Teachers of Singing auditions held in Whitewater, WI on Nov. 6th. There were 400 college and high school singers competing at the event. 93 singers performed in four high school divisions. Brian Hundt was finalist in the HS Men's Division. Megan Ley was a finalist (for the 3rd year) in the HS Women's Division. Sam Bush was a finalist (2nd year) in the HS Men's Music Theatre Division. Sarah Carpenter (3 year finalist) received 3rd place in the HS Women's Music Theatre Division. Elena Weaver received 2nd place in the HS Women's Division. Cameron Arndt (3 year finalist) won the HS Men's Music Theatre Division. Congratulations to these outstanding singers for their accomplishments.

NHS Induction Ceremony
The NHS Induction Ceremony for the newly accepted members will take place on Monday November 24th at 7pm. National Honors Society, NHS, is an organization based on four founding pillars: character, service, leadership and scholarship. The NHS Officers are very excited to welcome the new members and know they will carry on NHS's drive for excellence.

THE BIG FAMILY NEW YEAR'S EVE
The La Crosse Public Education Foundation in partnership with Logistics Health Inc. and many other local businesses will again be sponsoring THE BIG FAMILY NEW YEAR'S EVE event. This fun, family New Year's Eve event will be held at Logan High School from 4:00 – 10:00 p.m. on New Year's Eve.
