Welcome to John Gevens, the new principal at Lincoln Middle School. Prior to being named principal at Lincoln, Mr. Gevens was the middle school principal at Barron, Wisconsin.

Lincoln Open House
A mandatory Open House for all Lincoln students will be held on Wednesday, August 27 at 6:00pm. In addition to an address by the new principal, John Gevens, parents and students will meet the Lincoln staff, and receive class schedules, locker Combination, lunch PIN #, and turn in emergency forms. Also available that evening is the school health assistant (if you would like to drop off medications) and the kitchen staff (if you would like to pay ahead on school meals.
Don't forget that student photos will be taken during the day of the Open House on August 27 (6th grade from 12:00-2:00, 7th grade from 2:00-4:00, and 8th grade from 4:00-6:00).

Registration Dates for 2008-2009 School Year
STUDENTS NEW TO THE DISTRICT:
Guidance Counselors will be available to register students new to the LaCrosse School District in the fall. Please call 608-789-7780 to make an appointment after August 13. Appointment dates include August 19, 20, 21, 22, 26 and 29.
STUDENT TOURS:
Tours led by Student Council members for students new to Lincoln will be held on August 29 from 9:00am-11:00am. Stop by for a student tour and ask students questions before starts!

Fall Sports Information
Fall sports offered at Lincoln Middle School include:
Boys Football (7th-8th)
Girls Volleyball (7th-8th)
Boys & Girls Cross Country (6th-8th)
Girls Tennis (6th-8th)
All athletes must have a valid sports physical on file before being allowed to participate in athletics. Doctor physicals dated after April 1, 2007, are valid for this school year.
