TURKEY HUNT ON MONDAY NOV 24
In the spirit of Thanksgiving, Student Council will hide 3 turkeys in various places throughout the school. The turkeys will be hidden in spots accessible by everyone. They will not be hidden in any classrooms, gym, or LMC. A certificate for a free yearbook will be given to the person who finds any of the turkeys. Clues will be announced during Monday's announcements.

Making...and Sampling...Pumpkin Pies!
On November 19th, Lincoln Middle School's Cooking Club made pumpkin pies for the La Crosse Center Thanksgiving Day dinner. All of the students loved the cooking and were able to each enjoy a piece of the pie at the end of the day.
The 26th annual La Crosse Community Dinner will be served on November 22, at the La Crosse Center. Organizers anticipate serving between 3,000 to 4,000 people, and the meal will include popular Thanksgiving dishes such as turkey, dressing and pumpkin pie. The dinner is free to the public.

FREE STUDENT FLU CLINIC La Crosse County Health Department is offering a FREE flu clinic at Lincoln Middle School for children 6 months to 18 years of age. Children must be accompanied by an adult in order to receive the vaccination. Parents may also receive a flu vaccination at a cost of $20. No appointments are necessary. FREE DENTAL CARE: Give Kids a Smile Day The La Crosse District Dental Society will be providing a day of free dental care for children in the La Crosse School District if children are: *First-time participants in the Give Kids a Smile Program *School aged (5 to 17 years old) *Eligible for free/reduced school lunch *Not receiving regular dental care Screening date will be Friday, January 9 from 3:00pm-7:00pm. Screening includes a free examination and x-rays with a follow-up dental appointment at a later date. For an appointment, contact the Health Assistant Sue Burrington at 789-7780 before Friday, December 19, 2008. This program is open to the first 100 applicants.
