Great Math Minds Connect
The Coulee Kids' Math Minds group met with the sixth grade Unity Team students to teach and play innovative probability games. The 7th grade students were given a challenge to use their knowledge of probability and expected value by designing an original game of chance. This carnival-like game was tested for experimental and theoretical probabilities. Entertainment was also an important factor of the game. To wrap up this challenge, Coulee Kids wrote summary reports to show all the knowledge they have stored in their Math Minds.

Yearbook is Well Underway!
The 2008-2009 Yearbook is off to a great start. The Yearbook Staff has been taking candid shots of students during many different activities. The sports pictures for the fall are in and we are eagerly awaiting the beginning of winter sports. The yearbook staff is excited to put together a yearbook that we all will enjoy.
