Planting our International Garden
Our garden was inspired by the International Gardens at Riverside Park. Every student in our school helped with the preparation and planting of our garden. A special thank you to our master gardeners who worked with with our students and staff to create this beautiful garden. Click here to view pictures of our work.

COOL GLOBES
Our "Cool Globes" were inspired by the Cool Globes project on display in Chicago in the fall of 2007. The project was created to urge everyone to take action against global warming. Our students wanted to do the same in celebration of Earth Day. Click on the picture to view individual classroom projects.

Africa is NOT a Country
Each year North Woods International school celebrates a different country. In the past we've studied China, Mexico, India and Japan. This year we are celebrating the continent of Africa. On October 7th, T.E.A.M. provided an enrichement program by Kenyan Acrobats. What a fun way to learn about others!
